“Woodturning is not just an expression of the artist; it is discovering and unlocking the beauty that Mother Nature has provided for all to enjoy. Through exploration of grain, colors, and textures in the wood, creating an art form from this God-given medium, makes us one with nature. Burls, imperfections, grain balancing, and the natural state of the wood itself is our artistic pallet.

The wood’s natural beauty can be enhanced by shape and form and this is the basis for this art form.  Embellishments such as piercing, carving, texturing, and colorizing only  compliment what we started with.
